1 In order to better understand the possible requirements for TeraGrid to accommodate the needs of users who would like to use multiple resources across their requested allocation, this survey has been created to facilitate input from existing and potential TeraGrid users. The answers to the questions below will allow TeraGrid to better determine the specific details of the various users' requirements and how the concept of "multi-resource" usage would impact and/or facilitate a user's research. 10 Currently TeraGrid has the concept of "roaming" which is defined as the ability for a single group (or subgroup) of SUs (unit of measure for TeraGrid resources) provided as part of a user's allocation to be utilized across a group of pre-determined resources without the need to identify ahead of time what percentage of the allocation will be used on each resource in the group.
