5 Bijwoorden van tijd These particular adverbs (bijwoorden) come before averb (werkwoord) but after a form of ‘to be’ (am/is/are/was/were). If there are more verbs in a sentence, the adverb usually comes after the first verb! Some adverbs to remember: Never, always, sometimes, often... Check out the next page...
