Yummy! Next School Council: October 17th at 6:45 in the School Library. Mayfair will take place June 1st, 2013. 2. Meet the Teacher Night Thursday, September 27, 2012 4:30 – 5:30 We’ll be providing free coffee and tea at the event. Stay informed. Stop by our booth in the foyer and enter your name, e-mail address and phone number for a chance to win Manotick Butcher gift certificates. Next School Council Meeting Wednesday October 17, 6:45 pm The next school council meeting will take place in the library. Please come and join us and find out what is happening at our school. We are still looking for a Fundraising Coordinator, another Lunch Coordinator and an OCASC representative. Pizza Lunch Sales School Council will be selling pizza for lunches and letters will be going home to parents soon. We’ll need volunteers to help on pizza lunch days during school and to help sort out orders. Movie Night – Disney’s Brave Thursday, October 11 Doors open at 5:00 pm. Movie will start at 6:00 in the FMPS Gymnasium. Cost = $5.00 per family Hot dogs, (all beef and halal), popcorn, ring pops, glow in the dark bracelets will be sold while supplies last. We’ll need volunteers to help out that evening! Fall Clothing Drive Thursday, October 11 – Thursday, October 25 A box will be in the school foyer to collect your gently used and clean clothes for the students at the Adult High School. Clothes for kids (outerwear especially) as well as work clothing that would be suitable for job interviews are needed. While you are cleaning your closets, keep in mind that the clothes that you do not wear could be put to good use. Let’s share the wealth! We’ll need volunteers to pick up the clothes from the school, store the clothes and deliver them on Friday, October 26. Help is Needed in the Library! Rana Wafai, the school librarian needs help shelving books. If you can help during school hours on Tuesday or Thursday, Wednesdays pm or Fridays am, please drop by the library.
