Upgrade to LCG2.6 as the first step, then to gLite platform Jobs can be send to LCG2.4,LCG2.6 or gLite as shown during tutorial Migrating Desktop can support: Batch jobs and applications, sequential or MPI (MPICH-G2 and P4) Interactive and semi-interactive jobs and application support (complementary to EGEE!!!) Java Plugins for interactive job control VNC for applications that cannot be ported to MD plugin
