1 Elk Island Public Schools’ Committee of School Councils

2 What is the Committee of School Councils (COSC)? A group of parent representatives from School Councils across Elk Island Public Schools (EIPS). COSC meets once a month, usually in the boardroom at Central Office. Meetings provide an opportunity for School Council representatives to come together to hear about projects and initiatives happening at the division level. Meetings are also a forum for sharing ideas and providing input on specific initiatives to EIPS’ Board of Trustees and senior administration.

COSC Chair approves the final agenda. Agenda is distributed to members and posted on our division website usually a few days before the meeting.
