2 Background 2009: First edition of the air emission accounts compilation guide 2011: The EU regulation 691/2011 was adopted 2012: SEEA Central Framework was adopted by the UNSC 2013: An update of selected parts of the 2009 edition were made 2015: New guidelines for reporting to UNFCCC and CLRTAP enters into force

6 Issues for discussions: 1.What are your impressions on the structure of the manual? Can it be further improved upon? 2.In chapter 2, related to conceptual foundations: Is it useful to introduce the monetary use table and a full- fledged pair of physical supply and use tables (reference would be SEEA-CF chapters 2 and 3)? 3.Annex 2 is an EXCEL table with a correspondence between the new CRF/NFR source classifications and NACE Rev.2.
