5. Pathophysiology Increased skin blood perfusion
Temperature dysregulation ( heat loss & hypothermia)
Basal metabolic rate rises
edema, hypoalbuminemia, loss of muscle mass
marked loss of exfoliated scales

No racial predilection is reported for exfoliative dermatitis.
