8 情态动词表猜测的用法 情态动词 must , can , could , should , ought to , may , might 等可以用在句中表示猜测。这时情态 动词没有时态的区分,只有语气强弱之别。这几个 情态动词都可以用于肯定句中, must 的把握性最大 意为 “ 一定、肯定 ” ; might 语气最弱;表示疑问时常 用 can , could , might ;表示否定时用 can’t , couldn’t , may not , might not 等,表示否定时 can’t 的语气最强。
