IEEE EMC Society - Central Texas Chapter Chapter Petition l Petition Summary l MGA Operations Manual Review l Supporting Information l Motion

IEEE EMC Society - Central Texas Chapter Petition Summary The Central Texas Chapter of the IEEE EMC Society formally petitions the Section Executive Committee of the Central Texas Section for approval to establish a Chapter bank account in accordance the MGA Operations Manual.

IEEE EMC Society - Central Texas Chapter MGA Manual Operations Review (15 Feb 2014) l 9.6(G) Financial Management of Chapter Funds

IEEE EMC Society - Central Texas Chapter MGA Manual Operations Review (15 Feb 2014) l 9.6(G) Financial Management of Chapter Funds

IEEE EMC Society - Central Texas Chapter MGA Manual Operations Review (15 Feb 2014) l 9.6(C) Chapter Management

IEEE EMC Society - Central Texas Chapter Supporting Information l Chapter financial history l 2009 CTS Spring Planning Meeting l Initial request for Chapter bank account l Accepted default Section policy after discussion l Worked within the default policy for 5+ years l Always followed policy with respect to budget requests, expense reporting, L31 reports, etc l Brought the 2009 EMC Symposium with surplus l Again requesting Chapter bank account

IEEE EMC Society - Central Texas Chapter Recommendation l Approve the petition l The MGA rules and Section policies allow Chapter bank accounts. l Using the combined Section account does not meet the needs of the Chapter. l The Chapter is willing and ready to comply with all MGA and Section rules. l No compelling reason exists to justify denying the Chapter’s petition.

IEEE EMC Society - Central Texas Chapter Motion Approve the petition of the Central-Texas Chapter of the IEEE EMC Society to establish a bank account separate from the Central-Texas Section in accordance with the MGA Operations Manual.
