Make sure you are completing the homework, or the test will be a headache. Despite what your calendar says, the final draft will be due on Friday, November 4.

2 II. Ch. 25, 26: A. Chapter 25: Tom Robinson is dead, and Helen is told the news. Boo Radley is about to return as the central plot. In preparation, Lee includes this powerful chapter about helplessness. B. In chapter 26 Scout deals with the persecution of Jews in Hitler’s Germany. Notice the students’ and teachers’ blindness to Maycomb’s own mistreatment of other people groups. C. Because of her new-found maturity, Scout is no longer afraid of Boo Radley.
