1 Do Now – Reflect & Respond Friar Laurence: and, if aught in this Miscarried by my fault, let my old life Be sacrificed, some hour before his time, Unto the rigour of severest law. Act 5 Scene 3 Friar Laurence tells the Prince that if what happened to Romeo & Juliet is his fault, they should execute him. Question: Should the Friar live or die? Pretend you are the Prince. Write a speech that gives your judgement on the Friar.
