1 This is a short presentation to explain how and why to login to the CIM website as a member. Benefits are: Access to myCIM (private member area, contains info for volunteers) Update details and check account Access member only content If you have any difficulties please call membership services on 01628 427120

2 As a registered user, enter your chosen username and password Click here is you cannot remember your password. (enter your username & email sent to the email address you registered from.) If you can login, go to slide 3. To register, see slide 2

3 Click ‘register here’ to set your login details. You will need your membership number & authorisation key. To request your authorisation key click here. You will need to advise your membership number, date of birth & email. Forgotten your membership number? Ring 01628 427120 This form allows you to set your own username & password, to login on future visits.

4 Login using your chosen username & password Here is confirmation login has been successful. MyCIM goes to a private area for CIM members (see next slide) Login enables you to: Access myCIM Update details and check account Access member only content

5 Here is MyCIM. It is not widey used. However information useful to volunteers is held within Resources, select manuals & guidelines

6 Here is current info for volunteers. It is easy to add files to this database via the webeditor (send to jennyphillips@cim.co.uk)

7 To update your own details, click here ( remember to login first) Your changes are automatically recorded on the main database

8 And finally, you can access Member only content. Eg: these Cutting Edge bulletins are only available to logged in CIM members
