3 3 Marc.vanderhaegen@cec.eu.int - DG ENV Brussels, 5 March 2003 The draft INSPIRE Proposal: General issues Current version of draft proposal is fully in line with contribution from the scoping task force: introduction of two annexes differentiation of policy measures according to annexes Current version of draft extended impact assessment is fully in line with contribution of the XIA task force: full analysis of two options (broad framework and focused framework) choice of focused framework as the preferred option Similar in structure to Proposal presented in Rome meeting

General issues: INSPIRE obligations and principles
