3 Rikoti-Zestaponi Highway 11/29/2015Ministry of Regional Development & Infrastructure of Georgia 3 Project Description (Regional Criteria) TRACECA route TRACECA route - Tbilisi-Senaki- Leselidze international road Directly Interconnects – 4 countries (Georgia, Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan) Directly Interconnects – 4 countries (Georgia, Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan) Suggested project Suggested project is the to upgrade existing road from 2 lines to 4 lines and construction new road on some sections. connecting western and eastern regions ensure connectivity with the Black Sea Ports notable impacts on Inter-modality Road section located on Poti-Tbilisi-Red Bridge road (part of TRACECA) in the Imereti region, connecting western and eastern regions, ensuring transit traffic via Georgia to/from Turkey, Azerbaijan and Armenia. This road section sill ensure connectivity with the Black Sea Ports (Poti Sea Port, Batumi Sea Port) and notable impacts on Inter-modality of the region.
