I will visit 8 stations to see objects representing my teacher. I will write observations and inferences describing my teacher. 3 Tuesday, August 4th Today I will learn about the expectations of CCSD, LMMS, and science class. I will read the agenda handbook, p. 7 & 8. I will answer the agenda handbook questions accurately. Warm Up: Find your seat and be seated. Homework: Take all papers with you, supplies by Thursday (we will begin using the IAN on Monday).

4 Wednesday, August 5th Today I will learn about the units of study for Earth Science I will identify Earth science topics I will create and illustration that represents the units of study for 6th grade Earth Science. Warm Up: You have 10 minutes to collect signatures. Homework: Take all papers with you, supplies and paper bag items due by Thursday (we will begin using the IAN on Monday).

Friday, August 7th Turn In: none Today, I will be learning about my personality and learning style as well as my current knowledge of rocks and minerals. I will take the rocks and minerals pre-test via Edmodo as well as the online personality and learning styles. I will write and label all of test results on an index card. Warm Up: Find your computer lab seat, be seated, log in with “happy” password and reset password. * Remind Mrs. Sanford to talk about science notebook!

Monday, August 10th Turn In: none Today, I will be learning about interactive notebooks (IAN) and the expectations for Earth Science class. I will set up my IAN and highlight the science syllabus. I will add my first week assignments to my IAN and place the syllabus in the pocket of IAN write. Warm Up: Take out your science notebook and put your name on the front cover in permanent marker.
