2 Characteristics of a Polygon
It is a closed geometric figure. It has at least 3 line segments that do not cross. None of the sides are curved.

3 Examples of 4 Sided Polygons:
Quadrilateral Rectangle Square Trapezoid Parallelogram Rhombus

4 A quadrilateral is a polygon with 4 sides.

5 A rectangle is a quadrilateral with four right angles.

6 A square is a rectangle with 4 sides of equal length.

7 A trapezoid is a quadrilateral with exactly one pair of parallel sides.

8 A parallelogram is a quadrilateral with both pairs of opposite sides parallel.

9 A rhombus is a quadrilateral with 4 congruent sides.
