13 Objectives for 2013/14 Core Skills Key ActivityPriority By September 2013 the programme will have migrated to the use of the National Framework Must We will have supported the development of the national e-assessments Must Clarity and widen the opportunity for more explicit executive engagement for enabling pace and scale of adoption Must Pilot the implementation of the skills passport in both work streams Should Explore the potential penetration scale and benefits of the adoption of the framework by temporary staff (including agency, and locum) Could To prevent duplication of pre-employment checks, promote efficiency, thus saving time and money Could Work with social care and independent, third sector to adopt CSF Could

14 Objectives for 2013/14 Junior Doctors Key ActivityPriority Deploy a Programme of activity utilising a phased approach (August/February) to ensure all organisations hosting Junior Doctors in the North West have access to Core Skills aligned learning by February 2014 (this excludes integration into general practices, see activity below) Must Support the implementation of the Core Skills Register to all host medical education providers in the North West by February 2014 (excluding GP trainees) (Activity shared with future workforce) Must Will conduct with the support of the stakeholders a survey of learner experience (Activity shared with future workforce) Should Deploy a programme of activity utilising a phased approach to ensure organisations hosting General Practice and Public Health trainees in the North West have access to the Core Skills aligned learning.
