5 Training & Other Qualification Need a collage degree or higher. Some departments require 1 or 2 coursework. 21 yrs or older 3 to 12 months of training.

6 Job Outlook Population growth is the main source of demand for police service Layoffs are rare Many opening will be when either people retire or leave the job

7 Earning The middle 50% earned between $38,850 and $64,940. People that work for government get about $46,620 If you work for state government you get about $57,270 If you like working in crime investigators your going to get about $45,930 to $81,490
