13 Natural Disasters Student Reflections How can you use the information you learned from your presentation and the presentation of others in the future? What do you think the best and the worst part of this project was? What changes would you make if you had to do this project again? Did you enjoy the intel sort's and online activities? How did the technology in this project help you for future projects? After completing their videos, students were asked to answer the following questions to help us better plan for next year.

17 Teacher Reflections

18 Natural Disasters Ms. Etcheverry Success: Groups were actively engaged in creating the Animoto video and took their time to create a quality project. Groups were given pieces at a time to put together allowing groups to not get too overwhelmed but not get bored doing the same thing over and over. Students had reflective pieces that allowed for higher level thinking while interacting fun and technology. Problems to be changed for next year: Five people in a group is to many Expectations and project needs should be communicated to every group at the same time Overall: I really enjoyed this project with the students. They put a lot of time and care into answering questions, being reflective on information and working with their group members. Each team worked well together.
