3. My First Name My first name is My name was Angela for the first two weeks of my life. My mom decided I didn’t look like an Angela, so she changed my name. I had to get a new birth certificate.

4. My Last Name My last name is The is silent. My last name comes from Captain Cook. He was in trouble with the law, so he added an to his name to disguise himself. He wasn’t very smart. 

5. Throwing Up at Disneyland We had Thanksgiving dinner at The Bayou Restaurant inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. My dad made me eat my beets. I threw up all over the table. That was the only time I ate beets.

6. Lagoon Nightmare I am terrified by the Wild Mouse Ride. I have nightmares of getting to the top of the first turn and falling.

7. Car Wrecks I wrecked my driver’s ed teacher’s brand new truck my first day driving on the range. I crashed into a red Corvette and cracked the entire front of the car. I don’t drive anymore.

8. Lessons I Learned the Hard Way Hamburgers that get shoved into the crack at the back of the seat don’t fall on the road for the birds. Dad doesn’t like rotten hamburgers in his car. You are still lost if you know where you are, but your mom doesn’t know where you are. Hiding under a blanket won’t make bears stop trying to get the cookies in your car.

9. Embarrassing Moments In 7 th grade my sister asked a boy to go out with me. When he asked her who she was, she told him, “I’m the Honey Nut Bee.” He decided to date my best friend, instead. In 9 th grade I was put in a garbage can and carried around the cafeteria. I gave my self a black-eye when I didn’t catch my flag during marching band.
