8 Audience Analysis  Why is it important to know about your audience --- your students?  You can plan instruction better.  You can meet their needs.  You can motivate them.  You can help them learn.

9 What you need to know…  Entry behaviors  Prior knowledge  Attitudes toward content and you  Academic motivation  Educational ability and levels  General learning preferences  Group characteristics
