22 Bolshevik Revolution, 1917 Definition: A revolution that gives Vladimir Lenin, a COMMUNIST, control of Russia. Effect on the allied powers (Britain, France, U.S.): Russia makes a treaty with Germany (1918) and draws out of the war. Germany launches all-out offensive against Britain, France, & the U.S.
