5. Designated Driver Program Drivers for the graduating Class of 2013. They celebrated their achievement at the local winery and we will be available to provide safe transportation home for them To ensure safety and fun while promoting responsibility

6. Field Day Hosted a sports fundraiser where students were able to relax and enjoy a day of field day type activities including water balloons, basketball, and others.

7. Anatomy Mock Practical ✦ SSP members conduct two mock anatomy practicals to help prepare 1 st year medical students for success

8. Dr. Bag Program Members visit local preschools and kindergarten classes Local children learn about the instruments used by doctors and nurses ✦ Children have the opportunity to ask questions and share stories regarding their experiences with their doctor!

9. Boy/Girl Scout Merit Badge College Complete all objectives necessary for boys to earn Medicine badge and girls to earn Health badge

10. Board Meeting Opportunity for medical students to ask Tim Tucker, Learning Resources Advisor, about studying for Boards He answered student questions and provided helpful hints to prepare for the test

11. First aid for moms Members educated moms on first aid for their kids They provided various educational materials to teach first time moms about important topics in caring for a child

12. Show-A-Little-Love! Thank you cards for the faculty/staff Delivered with homemade goodies!

13. Healthy Family Cooking This event was held for families in the community to discuss the importance of healthy eating There were four stations at this event including: Good Food, Bad Food, Germs, and Tooth Health

14. Mini Med School Mini Med School booths: Nutrition Bones & joints “Doctor bag” Exercises and stretches Oral health Wound care OMM demo Splints & wraps
