3. Objectives Learn to create a spreadsheet to chart the different colors in a package of Skittles. Collect data and create a bar graph.

5. What is a bar graph? Review A bar graph uses bars to show data It is a great way to organize data and see how various items can be grouped together. Bar graphs are used in a variety of situations and places, especially in businesses.

6. Procedure Today we will create a bar graph using the colors in a individual size pack of Skittles

7. Procedure You will receive a sheet of paper labeled with the colors in a bag of Skittles Then mark tally marks by each color as you remove Skittles from the bag one by one Then write the number of tally marks by each month

8. Procedure The following steps should be used to create a bar graph: Create a title for your graph Using your rule draw a horizontal and vertical line Label the horizontal axis with the colors and the vertical axis with numbers (counting by ones).
