2. شوكاً و حسكاً Thorns and Thistles
ماذا يصنع ايضا لكرمي و انا لم اصنعه له
لماذا اذ انتظرت ان يصنع عنبا صنع عنبا رديئا
(اش 5 : 4)
Thorns and Thistles
What more could have been done to My vineyard
That I have not done in it?
Why then, when I expected it to bring forth good grapes,
Did it bring forth wild grapes? (Isa 5 : 4)

3. إنه يوم التينه... الشهيرة ... الملعونة... ارحمنى يا ربي
It is the day of the Fig tree ….
The famous tree …. The damned tree ….
God have mercy on me

4. اعطيتنى كل شئ... غرستنى في كرمك...
زرعت في َّ روحك ... غذيتنى بكلامك...
سقيتنى بحبك...
و انتظرت أن أصنع لك ثمراً... عنباً جيداً...
و إذ به أشواك.
You have given me everything ….
You have planted me in your vineyard ….
You have planted Your soul in me ….
You fed me with Your words ….
You watered me with Your love ….
And then You waited for me
to give You fruits …. Good grapes ….
But shockingly, You received just thorns

5. يا الهى ... صنعت الشوك بنفسي لأضعه علي رأسك
يا الهى ... صنعت الشوك بنفسي لأضعه علي رأسك
بدلاً من الثمر الذي اشتهيته...
My Lord …. I have created the thorns myself
to put it on Your head
instead of the fruits You wished for …

6. انتظرت مني ثمرة حب... و اذا بها شوكة حقد... انتظرت مني ثمرة فرح...
و اذا بها شوكة حزن رديئ...
انتظرت مني ثمرة تعفف...
و اذا بها شوكة نجاسة...
You waited for a fruit of love from me,
but it was a thorn of envy ...
You waited for a fruit of joy from me,
but it was a thorn of bad grief ...
You waited for a fruit of self control from me,
but it was a thorn of impurity ...

7. يا إلهى... ماذا فعلت بك؟؟؟ مقابل كل ما فعلته بي؟؟؟!!
My Lord .... what have I done to You?
In comparison to all what You have done to me?!!!

8. و أنا توجتك ملكاً بإكليل شوك بين المجرمين...
توجتنى ملكاً علي جنتك...
و أنا توجتك ملكاً بإكليل شوك بين المجرمين...
رفعتنى لأشارك ملائكتك...
و أنا دست عليك بخشبة صليب ثقيلة...
و أشواك مرة.
You have crowned me a king over your Heaven...
& I have made you a king, among the criminals, with a crown of thorns ....
You have raised me to share with Your angels...
& I stepped on You with a heavy wooden cross ... and hurtful thorns

9. حقاً يا رب ... أنا استحق اللعنة... لكنى أترجاك...
اتركها... اترك شجرتى و لا تقطعها...
اتركها هذة السنة أيضاً...
لا تقطف ثمرها الآن... فتجرحك أشواكها...
Truly my Lord ... I deserve to be damned ...
but I beg You .... let it ....
let my tree and do not cut it down ....
leave it this year too....
do not cut its fruit now ....
so as not to be harmed by its thorns ....

10. تمهل علي ... و أعمل فيِّ... تحنن علي جبلتك...
لأنى أحبك نعم يا رب... أنت تعلم انى أحبك.
have patience on me .... and work on me ....
have compassion on your creation ...
because I love You my Lord ....
Yes my Lord ... You know that I love You ...
