4.  Each unit grade (category) will consist of three to six small assessments (quizzes and/or labs), and one unit test.  The small assessments will total 70 points in each unit, and each unit test will be 100 points.  Our comprehensive final exam will make up 15% of the student’s final average. How will my student be graded?

6.  Check the unit calendar to see what notes, labs, or assessments were missed.  Check the blog to get notes, copies of labs, and view special assignments.  Go to the course website to read the topics that were discussed during the absence.  Come to a science department make-up session if a test or quiz was missed. (Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday mornings) What should my student do if he/she is absent?
