Advanced Physics Starter: give back learning target sheet; get out writing utensil, calculator and formula card Learning target focus: all Reminder: make sure that you have checked all small group practice (set 1 dn 2) with me Exam: good luck! Afterwards, on your learning target sheet, complete the “Look Back” and a column;

2 nd Period Chemistry I Starter: turn in hmwk; get out writing utensil, calculator, and 10-2 practice problems. Complete the following problem: 4.09 x 10 24 molecules of NH 3 gas would occupy what volume? What mass would they have? Today’s learning targets: 6 Small group practice problems (wkst) Due this week: Thursday: 10-3 notes Learning check over Mole Map (LT#6): Thursday

Astronomy Starter: get out SW/APOD sheet and learning target sheet Give out crossword puzzles: due Friday Today’s learning targets: 10-14 SW/APOD Continue: Jupiter Exam: Friday

Conceptual Physics Starter: get out learning target sheet and notes organizer sheet Today’s learning targets: 4-5 Hmwk: pg. 196 (1-10) Reading: Pg. 187 (Ocean Tides)

AP Chemistry Daily Starter: get out somewhere to write equations for practice Continue multiple choice practice Wkst 37 due Thursday Wkst 37 due Thursday Practice test Weekly Chem days: M, W, F Today is a “B” day for SLC

Write net ionic equations. Answer additional questions. 1.A 20.0 mL sample of 0.10 M potassium phosphate is added to a 30.0 mL sample of 0.10 M calcium chloride. How many moles of product are formed? 2.Carbon dioxide gas is bubbled into freshly distilled water. The pH of the solution decreases as the reaction proceeds. Explain.

Write net ionic equations. Answer additional questions. 3. A piece of zinc metal is placed in a 1.0 M solution of hydrochloric acid. (write equation) When a piece of zinc metal is placed in a 1.0 M solution of acetic acid at the same temperature, the rate of the reaction is slower than when hydrochloric acid is used. Explain.

7 th Period Chemistry Starter: turn in hmwk; get out writing utensil, calculator, and 10-2 practice problems.
