13 iNewspaper Similar to the app iBooks. It is thought that Apple has created the new service so that users can access a wide range of newspapers in one place, rather than having to flip between different dedicated apps. People will be able to do full subscriptions or single issue

14 Apple is believed to have created a suite of software to make it easier and cheaper for publishers to create attractive digital versions of newspapers and magazines, with high-resolution photos and videos integrated into articles.

15 A dozen newspapers are already on board with Apple and presently have their own iPad app The new service will initially be available in the US and later on forwarded to other regions. The tech giant is waiting for the negotiations to turn fruitful with the publishers, as to what cut would the Apple share from each subscription. Currently 30 percent of the share, Apple takes from music, games and other application sales. Several publishers, including Time Warner and Next Issue Media have refused to sign the Apple’s offer, mainly due to revenue sharing. Whereas these publishers are also heard to be in talks with Google on unveiling an Android- based tablet to compete with Apple.
