3 Look and say In the park You can’t ride your bicycle here. Why not? Look at the sign. Eddie and Danny like football. At four o’clock they go to the park. a boy is riding his bicycle in the park. You can’t bring your dog here. Why not? Look at the sign. At half past four a girl comes. She has a dog. You cant play foot ball here. Why not? Look at the sign. At a quarter past five a man comes. Eddie and Danny are playing football. No bicycles No dogs No ball games after 5 p.m.

4 A day out 1 They are in the country park. They are having a picnic. 2 They are going t North Country Park by bus. 3 The Lis are going to South underground station. 4 They are putting their rubbish in the bin. 5 They are walking to the bus stop. 6 They are walking in North Contry Park.

This one is eating a banana.

12 Look and read 1 A butterfly is an insect. It lays eggs on a leaf. The eggs are small and white. 2 The eggs become small caterpillars. The small caterpillars eat leaves. The caterpillars grow. 3 This caterpillar is big and fat. It makes a little house. It is a cocoon. The cocoon is brown. 4 The cocoon opens. A butterfly comes out. It is wet. The sun makes the butterfly dry. It is a beautiful butterfly.

13 Make a butterfly 1 Draw a body, a head and two feelers. 2 Draw two big wings. 3 Draw two small wings. 4 Colour your butterfly. Use three colours. 5 Cut out the butterfly. I like butterflies. Which one do you like, Alice? I like the red and yellow one. Which one do you like, Danny? I like the green and blue one but I don’t like the black and purple one.

16 Look and read Let’s go to … A map of Ocean Park in HongKong Janet: Can we see the dolphines? Mum: Yes, let’s go to the Ocean Theatre. We can see the dolphins there. Janet: I ‘m thirsty. Mum: OK. Let’s go to the restaurant. We can have some hamburgers and some Cokes there.

17 Look and read A visit to Ocean Park 1 Janet and Simon are going to Ocean Park. They are catching a bus. 2 Janet and Simon are going to the top of the mountain. They can see the sea and some islands. 3 They watch the divers. A man is diving from a tower. The tower is very high. He is very brave. 4 They watch the dolphins. The dolphins are jumping and swimming in a big pool. 5 Janet and Simon are at the Shark Aquarium. They are looking at a shark. 6 Janet and Simon are hungry. They are going to the restaurant.
