4 Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) èGoal is 100% proficiency by June 2014 for all children. èState has set AYP benchmarks for each year from now until then.

7 What is reported?  Scores are reported at grades 4, 8, & 11.  Schools must meet AYP or show a 10% decrease in # failing (NJ Safe Harbor).  Scores are reported by total population & subgroups

8 What is reported? Sub Groups:  Total Population  Students with Disabilities  Limited Income  Limited English Proficient  Economically Disadvantaged  White  African-American  American Indian/Native American  Hispanic  Other  Subgroups of less than 20 are not reported.  Subgroup of ‘students with disabilities’ must be over 35.
