1. Mrs. Hludzik’s Project 101 On the following few slides are some helpful hints and tips to help you with the Q4 Project. Everything was discussed at length and in detail in class. Review the Project Instruction Sheet for more information. Project must be in the Q Drive by the start of your class on Friday, May 3 rd Presentations begin at the bell of that class.

2. Title Slide Must include at least one image! Do not include your name, my name, or your class period.

3. Summary Do not put Summary – create a title! Summary is to be written in paragraph form – not bullets! Summary is a brief yet comprehensive abstract of your research. Slide must include at least 1 image

4. Political Climate - Newspaper No header or title! Newspaper front page must consist of:  Lead story re: your research topic.  U.S. story in the same time period.  International story in the same time period.  Each story must contain an image. No additional images needed on this slide – you are to have 3 in your newspaper. Inserting newsletter into PowerPoint:  View the completed newsletter in in Print Preview.  Take a Screen Shot (PRT SC key)  Paste on the slide in PowerPoint.  Use Picture Tools to crop.

5. Timeline You must give the timeline a title – do not call it just Timeline! Timeline must consist of  7 events related to your topic and U.S. events.  3 world/international events in the same time period. If you are using SmartArt – you do not need an additional image. If you are not using SmartArt – you must have at least one image.

6. The culture board is to be a visual representation of how people lived during this time in the United States. You are to create a virtual poster that consists of at least 5 different items as discussed in class. Each must also have a coordinating photo/clipart.

7. Citations Do not make a Citations slide – you are to submit to Mrs. Hludzik’s Q drive. No image on citation page. MLA Format You must cite your sources, images, etc…
