4 Exercise 2. Whatever/However/Whenever/Wherever/ Whichever (+ N) + S 1 + V 1..., S 2 + V 2... Whoever + V 1..., S 2 + V 2... 1. Whatever customers’ purposes may be when they walk into a store, they will probably end up buying something while they are there. 2. Whatever people may need, convenience stores have these items stacked on their shelves already.

5 Introduction Examples 1.If you worked in the marketing department of a convenience store, what would you do to fulfill customers’ needs? 2.What type of stores do you prefer to go when you go shopping? Why?

6 Conclusion The ever-growing convenience-store industry in Taiwan is built upon a win-win arrangement for both the stores and their customers. This mutually beneficial relationship certainly goes a long way toward explaining why convenience stores in Taiwan are always open and always convenient.
