Fall 2014 Field Activities: Finding Water and Gaining Access in Eastern Montana In total, 13 families of eastern Montana agreed to have their well water tested for potential contaminants from oil and gas activities. Here, water is taken from a stock tank. Disposal-injection well used by the oil and gas industry is in the background.
