3. TIPS FOR ORGANIZING A STUDY GROUP  It works best to have just three to five people in a group.  Each person gets the time to talk and make sure they understand the material.  Schedule a few study sessions. These are much more useful than a “cram” session.

4.  Have one person act as the leader of the group.  The main goal of the leader is to keep everyone focused on studying.  Be prepared! A study group is a place to share your understanding of a subject, not to be taught facts you should already know.

5. STICKING TO AN AGENDA IS IMPORTANT HERE’S ONE PLAN FOR ORGANIZING YOUR GROUP TIME

6.  First, compare your notes and review old homework.  Write down your questions before you meet with your group.  Next, drill each other on facts you need to memorize.  Lastly, take the time to discuss “why” questions.  Make a list of the important “why” questions you will be discussing, and divide them among the group. At the next meeting have each person present their information on their question.
