4. 4 Four new standards On Dec/31/2008, PMI released four new standards:  Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3®)–Second Edition  The Standard for Portfolio Management—Second Edition  The Standard for Program Management—Second Edition  A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide)– Fourth Edition The main goal in releasing four PMI standards simultaneously was to ensure they each were in harmony with the other.
