10 Completing a Safety Assessment Minimum Contact Requirements Face-to-Face contact with the alleged child victim(s). At least one of the caretakers must be interviewed face-to-face. 10

11 Timeframes for Safety Assessment Completed within four (4) working days from the receipt of the report. If initial attempt to make face-to-face contact is unsuccessful: an additional attempt within the first four (4) working days of the assessment/investigation is required. After face-to-face contact is made, the Safety Assessment tool must be completed the next working day. 11

12 Specific and concrete strategy for:  controlling threats of serious harm to a child(ren) or  supplementing protective capacities  implemented immediately when a family’s protective capacities are not sufficient to manage immediate safety threats for at least one child in the family.
