5 Adequate Yearly Progress Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) is determined by accountability measures in four areas: Participation Rate (95%) Percent Proficient – Annual Measurable Objectives (AMO) Academic Performance Index (API) Graduation Rate (High Schools)
