Attitudes and Behaviors ●Attitude doesn’t always predict a behavior o Some people change behavior and attitude to be appropriate in a situation ●Self monitoring- when people override their behavior in accordance with others expectations o High self monitoring will result in observing situations and other people’s behaviors for clues on how to act o Low self monitoring will result in action on ones own attitudes with great consistency, showing little regard for situational clues and constraints.
