2. After ‘Sermon on the Mount’ a leper appears. Lepers ostracized, keep away from crowds, wear a bell or call out “UNCLEAN!” They were physical AND spiritual uncleanness. 3. However he felt, he treated Jesus respectfully. He is confident Jesus can heal… and choose “if you are willing”. Jesus is willing, and touches him! Shocking! Touching a leper made you unclean, too… But NOT Jesus, he made the leper clean! Why not tell anybody?? Maybe to have him follow the law first?

4. Don’t want kingdom misunderstood. Maybe showing better than telling Jesus IS the good news and the King! Who do we see or treat as ‘unclean’? To be more ‘like Jesus’, we should be reaching out to ‘untouchables’. Be known by our love, our compassion. Watch God work when you reach out in Love!
