2 INSEE DATA: Unemployment rate in France, Q3 2012: 10.3% of the active population Unemployment rate in metropolitan France: total – 9.9% 15-24 years – 24.2% 25-49 years – 8.9% 50 years and more – 6.9% The unemployment rate has a tendency to increase last years. The unemployment rate among young people under 25 is disproportionately high

3 GENERAL WORLD TENDENCY Education: The unemployment rate among the people having university, high school or trade school education is quite similar with small exceptions. 5 EDUCATION Young people need to enter to the job market as early as possible to obtain a work experience: 1. Open access for all young people to high or trade school. Revalorisation of working specialities, technical skills and special technical education in the trade school, 2. Obligation to all of the University students to have half-part work (or training) on future specialities in parallel with University study 3. Foundation of special organisation in each University helping to students to find this kind of training or job.

6 EDUCATION 1. Job market should be analysed precisely. Special quotes and entrance examination for different specialities should be introduced to decrease the competition of young people at the job market in special sectors of the economy (for example, service sector where the unemployment rate is highest). 2. At the same time this will successfully increase the quality of students and improve the final educational level.

7 EDUCATION Introduce special courses not only in Universities but also in high schools and trade schools to provide a job search coaching and the real updated information about job market and self-presentation.

8 INDUSTRIAL INNOVATIONS 1. Invest to the new technology and decrease the time interval between scientific discovery and manufacturing: opening the new technology incubators, a start-up companies and the industrial parks; 2. Make the innovations closer to real life - increased the number of students with some specialities like scientific innovation and risk management.

9 Change business mode for the service sector of economy - decrease of labor costs inside a country: 1. Active use of network 2.
