Feedback on Psycho. Invest. 1.Give NUMBER and at least 2 other facts. 2.OPPORTUNITY sample: relate details to YOUR activity. 3.Full marks only if you apply to YOUR work: even refer to the content of your questionnaire to illustrate possible bias.

Observation 4. You need to start by stating WHAT you were observing. You need to provide enough information to enable someone to replicate your work. So what else do you need? Think outside the box! Answer who, what, where, when,how?(5 points) 5. Give plenty of detail. Don’t jump the gun and answer the next question! Try to think of something other than “more” or “somewhere else”. REMEMBER “MORE” DOESN’T NECESSARILY MEAN MORE VALID!!!!!

Observation 6.Being less conspicuous: more validity Different angle: more validity Videoing: more reliability 2 observers: can check for inter-rater reliability BUT don’t just write in this general way: focus on the specific results of YOUR study. REMEMBER THAT “MORE” DOESN’T NECESSARILY MEAN MORE VALID!!!!!

Activity C 7. COPY!! Read the question!!! 8. If you’re going to make a table, then make it a table!! Remember to specify the units The range is a measure of dispersion, not an average. You don’t need to comment on the table, as you weren’t asked to this time. 9(a) Say whether your null hypothesis was supported or rejected, but also explain the content of your work. 9(b) Refer to last presentation. You need to name the test, refer to calculated and critical values and mention levels of significance.

Activity D 10. Copy, but make it clear!! 11. Give plenty of detail. Be precise. Did people write down their estimate, or give it verbally? Again, have you given enough info. for your work to be replicated? 12. Give LOTS of detail. The mark scheme does say you can offer an alternative way of measuring the EXACT variable (no. of press ups estimated) or a more general one (estimated performance)
