A conjunction is a word that is used in writing to join words or parts of a sentence.

A coordinating conjunction connect words, such as, two or more nouns or two or more verbs. They can also connect large groups of words, such as prepositional phrases or complete sentences.

The seven types of coordinating conjunctions. you can abbreviate them by : FAN BOYS: F: stands for ‘for’ › A: stands for ‘and’ N: stands for ‘nor’ B: stands for ‘but’ O: stands for ‘or’ Y: stands for ‘yet’ S: stands for ‘so’

1- A subordinating clause can not stand alone as a sentence. 2- A clause is a group of words with a subject and a verb. 3- A subordinating conjunctions join a subordinate ( dependent ) clause to a main (independent) clause.
