3. 04/06/2008 Update on Current Developments3 Public Records Act Standards Update Electronic Recordkeeping Metadata Standard and Create and Maintain Recordkeeping Standard Advisory groups met in May to recommend final drafts to Chief Archivist Chief Archivist sign off due 30 th June Standards published and launched in August (available on website from July)

4. 04/06/2008 Update on Current Developments4 2008 Government Recordkeeping Survey The project to undertake the 2008 Government Recordkeeping Survey is now underway Letters to CEOs will be sent out in early June asking them to nominate a staff member to complete the survey The survey will run, online, from the 16 th of June to the 11 th of July This year we will also be surveying local authorities We look forward to receiving your responses!
