2 2 SDC – Access Requirements Must have a SAFE Account –Register through SAFE sign-in screen From ODE main webpage Appropriate SDC Role in OEDS-R Must be in OEDS-R with: –SDC Standard Level Access OR –SDC Student Level Access Set-up through OEDS-R Admin. at your district

3 Using the SDC Not as intimidating as it might first seem –Data is very useful May take trial and error –Many district staff are unaware what this data tool can do for them 3

4 Data in SDC The data in the SDC is your district data as submitted through EMIS-R Populated by ODE –Mid-Week –Weekend While being populated SDC may be closed –May also see announcements for other SDC closures 4

Local Report Card –“At a Glance” type reports – Some Reports – “Drill” ability Reports for Analysis –More detailed than the “At a Glance” reports –Ability to “drill” to individual student or staff level information –Some folders/reports updated in different/multiple reporting periods

12 SDC – Report Differences Current Data vs. Customizable –Reports marked as ‘Current’ are based on the current/last report card data –Reports marked as ‘Custom’ allow year selection Staff Reports –Mostly from October reporting period –Not all reports Accountability related 12
