2 Objective  To research about literary periods considering characteristics according to intellectual, linguistic, religious, and artistic influences.

3 Procedure  Write your topic according to the distribution.  Research in deep on the topic assigned.  Prepare a presentation in detail for the class, considering period, characteristics and authors as examples.  -Introduction.  -Reasons of birth of the period  -Characteristics of the period.  -Authors,books and pieces of arts descriptions.  -Influence in the history.

4 Example  I. Restoration Period (c. 1660-1700): This period marks the British king's restoration to the throne after a long period of Puritan domination in England. Its symptoms include the dominance of French and Classical influences on poetry and drama.  Sample writers include John Dryden, John Lock, Sir William Temple, Samuel Pepys, and Aphra Behn in England.
