2 Sean Combs - Concealed Weapon “Diddy Case” This case stemmed from an incident that happened on December 27, 1999, at Club New York, Manhattan. At the club, gunfire broke out. While attempting to leave the scene, Combs allegedly attempted to bribe his driver with a ring valued at fifty thousand dollars to take the gun from him. 3 Martha Stewart, Securities Trading Violation “Stewart Federal Case ” Basically, this trial stemmed in that Martha Stewart received Insider Trading information, undisclosed to the public, prompting her to sell her stock in ImClone Pharmaceutical. Doing so immediately, ImClone stock values dropped over 16%. By doing so, Stewart avoided a loss of $45,673 Chris, Tiana, Sarah Dean.

4 John Gotti, Organized Crime “Gotti-Godfather Mafia Case” The Gotti Case is a very complex one, in that it involves multiple charges, ranging from murder to racketeering. Gotti was the boss of the Gambino Crime Syndicate, successor to Paul Castellano. The total charges were racketeering, 13 murders, obstruction of justice, conspiracy to commit murder, illegal gambling, extortion, tax evasion,and loansharking. Ava,Lauren, Fatima, Lupe.

5 The People v. Jackson In 2005, recording artist Michael Jackson was accused to child abuse, and molestation by 13 year old Gavin Arviso. The trial spanned for six months, and held multiple charges. The complete list is: four counts of molesting a minor, four counts of intoxicating a minor, one count of abduction, and one count of conspiring to hold the boy and his family captive at his 2,700-acreNeverland Ranch. 6 Bernard Goetz, Subway Vigilante On December 22, 1984, Bernard Goetz shot four young men, allegedly mugging him, on the New York City Subway. The case received much publicity, and sensation, due to the fact that many applauded his actions, and many received them as racially motivated. 7 Michael Vick, Bad Newz Kennels On April 25, 2007, a drug search warrant was issued to police to search then quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons. When the police arrived, they found much more than drugs, they found that he had been running an illegal Dog Fighting ring on premises. Seventy dogs were seized, most of which were Pit Bull Terriers, and many of which showed signs of injury. Allegedly, there had also been executions of dogs that did not perform well. The case gained great sensation, and very quickly, because of the gruesome nature of the crime, as well as its high profile defendant.
