4 The Months at Mt Sinai  “I will be your God and you will be my people”  God will dwell among them  They will abide by His laws  Israel will sin and will need forgiveness  God designs a priesthood to mediate  Priests will offer sacrifices when sin occurs  God will forgive their sins

6 Clean and Unclean  The primary purpose of the laws of cleanness was to impress upon them that they were God’s holy people and that no defilement would be tolerated.  They were to be different from other nations, holy, unique, set apart.
