3. What is the LSAMP Program?
One of the four Alliance program funded by the National Science Foundation.

Increase the quantity and quality of students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics field. (STEM field)
Encourages students to enroll and complete baccalaureate programs in STEM fields and continue on to graduate studies.

4. Service and Privileges
Becoming part of a larger learning community among the alliance participants.
Earning stipends for tutoring, leading study groups, doing research, and community services.
Gaining research experiences in a specific field of interest in faculty laboratories.
Participating in the national LSAMP conferences.
Graduating with a solid degree and outstanding opportunities for careers or graduate school.
Opportunities to have international experience at laboratories through special programs that provide financial support
Qualification for the Bridges to the Doctorate program.

One-to-One Tutoring
Tutee and tutor work one-on-one with each other.
Made available for students who needs help from different math/science courses.
Group Tutoring
