2 While their parents are abroad for the summer, Lucy and Edmund Pevensie are sent to stay with their aunt and uncle and, rather unfortunately, their exceptionally annoying cousin Eustace Scrubb. One day, the three children are drawn into the magical world of Narnia through a picture of a ship at sea. They land in the ocean near the Dawn Treader, the ship of King Caspian, who Edmund and Lucy met in the previous story in the Chronicles of Narnia. © T.C.F. All rights reserved

3 Lucy and Edmund are thrilled to be reunited with Caspian and Reepicheep the talking mouse. (Eustace is less enthusiastic, needless to say!) Caspian tells them that three years have passed since they were last in the magical land and he and his crew are now on a mission to find the seven lost Lords of Narnia. They accompany him on his voyage and The Dawn Treader takes them to fantastical and mysterious islands where they encounter many of the lost Lords, a dragon, and even Aslan himself. During the adventure, Eustace turns into a dragon and realises he’s not exactly been a nice guy. Fortunately, Aslan appears and turns him back into a boy – a much, much nicer one than before! © T.C.F. All rights reserved

4 Eventually, they all reach the final island, the Island of the Star, where they find the three remaining lost lords deep in an enchanted sleep. The adventurers are told that the only way to wake them is to sail to the edge of the world and leave one member of their crew behind. That crew member is Reepicheep, who all along has wanted to go to the edge of the world and into Aslan’s country. It’s also where Edmund, Lucy and Eustace find a little lamb, who transforms into Aslan and magically transports the children back to the bedroom where the story began. Back in their own world, Eustace’s mother thinks that Edmund and Lucy have been a bad influence on her son, but everyone else remarks on how much Eustace has changed for the better. That’s what Narnia does for you! © T.C.F. All rights reserved
