4 Assignment 2 (Preproduction) Create an abbreviated game design document for the game level/app you will create in Unity for Assignment 3 Structure is based on template/examples supplied Report generated should follow the format given as closely as possible, example document hereexample document here Be realistic on time constraints You must pitch your game to the class in a formal presentation

5 Assignment 2 Guidelines The document should follow the game design document structure provided and also include accompanying support material Description of level theme/game/app Level/app design concept development material (including rough sketches/photographs) Level layout design diagram (Level blueprint) and game board (as appropriate) Consideration of in-world economy Model of game/in-world economy App store description

10 Assignment 2 Deliverables Modelling of the game and the in-world economy, things to consider. Games differ either a little or a lot. The game model or in-world economy will differ greatly from game to game. Page 7, What are the relative values of the food items and what was the decision process in deciding these values Page 10, What are the relative values of the games and what was the decision process in deciding these values Page 11, Impact of time and in-world items on the meters Page 14, How is the value of the currency calculated Page 18, Relative value of purchases and how it impacts on the game

12 Assignment 2 Deliverables Your game would need a similar approach i.e. look at how the individual parts come together and impact on each other. Some of this information/data can be presented in tables, some of it would be better in Excel. Gina and Circuit Warz models are complicated but your own model does not need to be as complicated. To summarise, this deliverable depends on the nature of your game and the data you are trying to present. If tables are more appropriate, use them. If Excel is easier use that.
